This week’s lady we love is the multi-talented Kristin Chenoweth, who is currently performing on Broadway in the show Promises, Promises, and recently guest starred in several episodes of the hit TV show Glee. She’s got a lot on her plate, but this father’s day weekend she is focusing on a cause that is close to her heart by supporting the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a non-profit organization that works to raise awareness for foster care adoption. Kristin, an adoptee herself, is encouraging you to participate in Wendy’s Father’s Day Frosty Weekend; for each frosty product sold at Wendy’s this weekend, 50 cents will be donated to the foundation to help place foster children in homes. Wendy’s will also donate 50 cents on your behalf when you create an e-card at FrostyCard.com.
So does Kristin have any plans to adopt someday? “It’s certainly something that I think about a lot,” she said, “but I would like to do it with a partner. Being an adopted person myself, it is the best gift a person can give or receive.”
What makes me a lady: Keeping a promise.
Favorite guilty pleasure: Chocolate and Coca-Cola.
What’s on my life list: Go to Haiti and Uganda to help teach children music and learn how to bedazzle properly.
If I could have a superpower, it would be: To clone myself so I could be at more than one place at a time.
Ladies I admire: Bette Midler, Carol Burnett and Chely Wright.
