We’re loving this movement, spearheaded by The Nature Conservancy. If you’re planning to score some great Cyber Monday deals (like the cool stuff Chelsea just posted, below), check out this list of eco-friendly presents and ideas. It’s a great way to grab some amazing presents and do good for the Earth too. Nice!

Find out if the books you buy for your kids this year are linked to deforestation in Indonesia http://ran.org/bookguide.

Here’s a book thats definitely not on any deforestation lists and can help kids increase their green and spread awareness too!
I just got this book for my 10 year old cousin and it is a fun and interactive how-to guide on finding ways to make a difference in your community. It’s called “Dosomething.org’s Handbook for Young Activists” and it helps the kids find fun easy ways to rock causes they care about from teen homelessness to animal welfare all the way to health and fitness or supporting our troops overseas. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a budding activist and needs a stocking stuffer!
Here’s the link to go check it out. http://www.dosomething.org/book
