Carla Egbert has a less-is-more philosophy about makeup. “I try everything but stick to the basics,” she says. Master makeup artist Bobbi Brown shows Carla and her daughter, Eve, how to make the most of their looks with a quick and easy routine.
Both mom and daughter can even out their skintone with liquid foundation and concealer. To add a healthy-looking glow, Brown gently taps bronzer onto cheeks.
Soft, muted eye shadow shades like brown, taupe and gray look good on everyone and give a fresh, clean look.
“Nothing polishes off your look like a swipe of lip gloss,” says Brown. Go for shades that match the color of your lips so you can easily apply on-the-go. For longer-lasting wear, start with a similarly colored lip pencil to fill in lips.
Carla and Eve look great with fresh-faced makeup that’s easy—and quick—to apply.
Bobbi also gave us this sneak peek into her new book, Beauty Rules, and shared essential info on makeup brushes.
