We fell for Crazy, Stupid Love (not to mention Ryan Gosling’s abs) back in July, which is why we’re so excited to be giving away the DVD. Plus, we’ll throw in a brand-new flat-screen TV to watch it on!
In case you missed it, Crazy, Stupid Love is the story of 40-something, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Steve Carell). He’s living the good life until his wife (Julianne Moore) cheats on him and asks for a divorce.While his life is unraveling, he meets the handsome player Jacob (Ryan Gosling), who takes him on as a protégé and teaches him how to be a desirable, single man. Cal learns, however, that the one thing that can’t be made over is his heart.

this movie was actually quite good and realistic of couples going throuhg a seperation. Ryan Gosling and Emma stone had fantastic chemistry as did Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell. The movie had more depth than your average ROM-COM!

I can’t call myself a Steve Carell fan, I just can’t seem to get into most of the movies that he does, but his shtick didn’t bother me at all in Crazy, Stupid, Love, in fact I found him really amusing. I was actually hesitant to even rent this one, being that it was yet again, another romantic comedy. But I went ahead and put it in my Blockbuster Movie Pass queue anyway, which is great ‘no risk’ service because if it had been really bad, I could have simply taken it in for an in-store exchange. Luckily though, I was pleasantly surprised, it delivered a lot of laughs. As a DISH Network employee, I was really excited when the Blockbuster Movie Pass came out, it’s an awesome service that includes DVD’s, Blu-rays, and video games all by mail, instant streaming to my receiver and computers, and 20 movie channels for $10 a month, and with the in-store exchanges option, I feel totally confident taking risks on movies I wouldn’t normally bother with. It’s really rounded out my entertainment options.
