Nicole Balch, the guru behind design blog Making It Lovely, has a special treat for Journal readers. Her fresh and fun home office decor was featured in our July issue, and because she’s a cool and generous lady, she’s offering to do one of her famous inspiration boards (like her recent bathroom one, below) for a room in your house that needs a makeover. Just email a photo of the room you want to redo (it can be your home office — or any room you choose!) to yourstories@LHJ.com. Nicole will pick her favorite and make personalized recommendations for your room, which we’ll then feature right here on LHJ.com.

Hello Nicole, Your title gives me chills. I too know how to organize. I do it during my sleepness nights, even dream about coming home from work and the basement is finished. My personal organizer is 6 months into a T.B.I. (concussion)recovery and it is progressing very slowly. As I enjoy my latest L.H.J. like a lizzard on a cushion, the deck got power washed and I sanded and painted the picnic table maybe a deep red. This made me sleepy and L.H.J became my sleep mask. I assure you my projects would make for a lively featured article. After you get moved in I will wash and iron your clothes and my husband Attilio will create great meals in exchange for your hard work. Most sincerely Deborah DeClaudio. So part of me says, “no way I’m sharing this article on Facebook! I want it all for me!” but you know I always like to share your stuff with all the world (that didn’t sound right did it…)
I mailed off my pics, but now here is the question: will LHJ fly you to the winner’s house? Because we are in california.. and I’m pretty sure I know how you feel about CA. And I do live in the “happiest place in America” lol.
