Toddler Taekwondo is my new favorite thing in life, ever.
This is a little bit long and a lot repetitive, but I promise it’s pure happiness.
This is not your grandmother’s Christmas Carol…Oh wait. It is.
What started as a way to save money on postage has become an Internet-wide anticipated event. I’m partial to last year’s stop-motion video, but this year’s card from the Fosters also packs a lot of cheer.

Jonah Mowry made this video about being bullied right before he started eighth grade. He wanted to let his friends who were moving on to high school know that he’d be okay, and they convinced him to put the video on YouTube. A week later, it’s got almost 8 million views and what feels like as many response videos rooting Jonah on.
Since I was a big old puddle after watching the Jonah video, the rest of these picks are much more lighthearted. You can relax, just like this lucky lab.
An important life lesson, brought to you by SoulPankcake.

It’s mean, but I can’t help but laugh.
3. Who Left the Sculptures?
A fun mystery out of Scotland: Someone has been leaving little works of art made out of books in libraries across the country. A “poetree“ was found in he Scottish Poetry Library, a coffin and gramophone in the National Library of Scotland, a dragon at the Scottish Storytelling Center, and so on. Each was left anonymously with a note that said “A gift in support of libraries, books, words, ideas…” After months, a music librarian stepped forward saying he bought a sculpture the year before that had to be by the same artist, and so new the identity. But before he divulged, Scottish media polled the country to find out if they thought the artist should be revealed. The result? Let the mystery reign.

There’s a soft spot in my heart for “Save the Last Dance,” but this is so much more beautiful.
On the one hand, I kind of feel bad for the little guy. On the other, I NEED him to teach my dog to do this.
For someone who previously had just two scarf options, this was oddly fascinating. A great primer for the cold weather coming.
4. A Companion to the Forgotten
The ladies over at More magazine posted this on their Facebook page earlier this week, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. Puts you in the right mindset for the weekend, I think.

2. Demi and Ashton: Can This Marriage Be Saved?
Demi and Ashton are on the rocks. Allegedly Demi is sick of Ashton’s cheating, and so the two have been living apart since July and are readying a $290 million divorce. How do we know it’s serious? By their tweets, of course.
This is a bit long, but my heart is warm after sitting through the whole thing.

It’s like, REALLY hot out, and I mostly feel like a beached whale. But if even these sea lions can get in some exercise, I suppose I should too.
Who knew I was a circus fan?? (The act starts at 0:50.)
4. You’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat
A great white shark jumped into the back of a research boat in South Africa this week. Scientists were chumming the water and monitoring sharks when one of them decided to get a closer look at where the food was coming from. Read more about it here.
