Do Good Challenge: Help Teachers and Students

October 19, 2009 at 10:53 am , by is a fantastic charity that helps classrooms in need across the country. It’s such a great way for you to make an immediate impact on a cause we can all can get behind (education) and see the rewarding results. Here’s how it works: Teachers post super-worthy projects that their schools can’t affort to fund, donors like you give a little (or a lot), the students get the supplies they need to learn, and you can see photos and thank-you notes from the kids you helped.

Here at LHJ we think this is so cool, we just created our own giving page on the site! We’ll be spotlighting reader-nominated classroom projects that we’d love your help in supporting. (Last month we collected change here in our office and we were able to donate $295 and help 312 students already! And we’re just getting started.)

So how can you help? Pass the page along to your friends and family and ask them to help us Do Good! Even donating $10 to a project can be a big help. If you’re a teacher (or you know one) and you’d like help rounding up donations for a classroom project, click here to join our Do Good group or leave a comment on this post to nominate a project for us to spotlight on our giving page.
