Enter the sweepstakes at www.lhj.com by completing the official online entry form. There is no cost to register. Sweepstakes begins on December 19, 2003. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm ET, January 2, 2004. Only one entry per household or e-mail address is allowed.
Open to legal residents of the U. S., who are 18 years of age or older, except employees of Hilltop New Media Inc., Meredith Corporation ("Sponsor"), Orbitz.com, Avon Products, Inc., their agents, affiliates, subsidiaries (collectively, "Promoters") and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household.
On or about January 12, 2004 a random drawing from among all eligible entries received will be conducted under the supervision of Sponsor. Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all respects. Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with the Official Rules.
Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize of a 3-day/2-night spa trip for two to New York City. Trip consists of roundtrip coach air transportation for two from major commercial airport near winner's residence to New York City (ARV: $1,500); hotel accommodations for 2 nights (single-room, double occupancy) (ARV: $500); the "Essentially Avon Spa Package" for winner and guest at the Avon Salon & Spa Trump Towers which includes an Avon personalized facial, personalized massage, manicure and pedicure (ARV: $500); and a SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE hat, t-shirt and CD soundtrack (ARV: $45). Trip must be taken within 6 months of winner notification. All other expenses not listed are the responsibility of grand prize winner. Actual value will depend on point of departure and any airfare fluctuations. Air transportation provided only if Grand Prize winner does not reside in or within 100 miles of New York City, New York. If Grand Prize winner resides in or within 100 miles of New York City, New York, a gasoline and parking allowance of $160 will be provided instead of air transportation. Grand Prize winner and his/her guest must take air travel on same itinerary. Grand Prize trip is subject to air travel and hotel availability, holiday and blackout dates, and other restrictions. Twenty-One day advance booking and Saturday night stay required. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Once booked, no change, extension, or substitution of trip dates is permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. If Grand Prize winner is from a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must pay his/her own expenses unless deemed to be the allotted guest. If guest is from a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must pay his/her own expenses unless he or she is the Grand Prize winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if prize cannot be awarded as described.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or incomplete, damaged, misdirected, illegible or lost e-mail entries. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes to eligible, non-suspect, entries received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry devices or any other conduct which impedes the integrity of the sweepstakes is prohibited. In the event of a dispute, entry will be deemed made by the holder of an established e-mail account associated with the entry. Entrants must have Internet access prior to December 19, 2003 in order to be eligible to enter.
Entry constitutes permission to use winner's entry, name, hometown, voice, likeness, photograph and any statements regarding this sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes on behalf of Sponsor without compensation, unless prohibited by law. Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Grand Prize winner and guest will be required to complete a Release of Liability/Publicity within 10 days of notification or an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing. By participating and winning a prize, winners release Promoters, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability with respect to the prize or participation in the sweepstakes.
