Star of David Match Holder

Give this match holder to a grown-up in your home who is in charge of lighting the candles. It makes a great gift to display in your house anytime.
What You Need:

  • Tall can (potato chip cans work best)
  • White glue
  • Scissors
  • Yellow ribbon or yarn
  • Blue felt

Instructions:

Store your matches in style.

1. Make Star of David. Cut 6 2-inch pieces of yarn or ribbon and glue them to the middle of the felt to make a Star of David.

2. Decorate top and bottom of felt. Glue two bands of ribbon or yarn at the top and the bottom of the felt.

3. Attach felt to can. Cut blue felt long enough to cover the outside of the can. Slightly overlap the ends to make it easy to glue them together.
