Place a cake stand in the center of the table and ring the plate with glass votives filled with fresh blossoms of roses, freesia, and tulips. For a bit of sparkle, use silver cups instead of the glass votives.
Set white dinner plates on a white linen tablecloth and add color with green salad plates, pink glasses, colored eggs, and fresh tulip place cards guests can take home. Mix and match!
To make the tulip place cards, use a white opaque pen and gently press to write a name or message on the leaf. Let dry. Tie it to paper placemat or napkin.
To make the paper placemat, cut an 18x22-inch piece of white kraft paper (available at art supply or crafts stores). Using a pencil and ruler, evenly mark the center of each hole around the perimeter of the paper. Punch out holes, using a large round paper punch. Loosely weave colored grosgrain ribbon (about 3-1/2 yards) through the holes, starting at the top center where you'll want to tie on the tulip place card. Be sure to leave extra ribbon for tying a bow around the stem.
