Dressed-Up Halloween Pumpkin

Create a face without the hassle
of using a knife.
- Pumpkin
- Artificial eyelashes
- Straw hat
- Ribbon
- Silk flowers
- Red raffia
- Acrylic paints in red and pink
- Paintbrush
- Thick white crafts glue
1. Wash the pumpkin. Let it dry. Trim the stem short if necessary.
2. Remove backing from artificial eyelashes. Apply to pumpkin, slightly above the center. Use acrylic paints to add a nose, cheeks, and a mouth. Let the paint dry. Glue raffia to the inside of the hat to resemble hair. Glue a ribbon around the hat. Add silk flowers. Set the hat on top of the pumpkin.
The Cowboy

Say 'howdy' to your Halloween
guests with this western-style
pumpkin.
- Pumpkin
- Orange foam ball
- Scissors
- Thick white crafts glue
- Cowboy hat
- 2 bandanas
- Acrylic paints in black, white, and yellow
- Paintbrush
- Toy sheriff's badge
1. Wash the pumpkin. Let it dry. Trim the stem short if necessary.
2. Cut a foam ball in half. Glue the flat side of one half to the center of the pumpkin. Paint eyes and a mouth. Let the paint dry. Add a white highlight to the nose and eyes. Tie a bandana around the cowboy hat. Place on the top of the pumpkin. Tie the remaining bandana around the bottom of the pumpkin. Secure with a sheriff's badge.
Veggie Lady

Dress up the pumpkin patch with
items from your refrigerator.
- Pumpkin
- Quilting pins
- Lettuce
- Sweet red peppers
- Black olives
- Yellow peppers
- Hot-glue gun and hot-glue sticks
- Thread
- Needle
1. Wash the pumpkin. Let it dry. Trim the stem short if necessary.
2. Pin lettuce on top of the pumpkin for hair. Add olive eyes, a yellow pepper nose, and sweet red pepper ears and mouth. Add yellow pepper earrings. Glue in place using hot glue. For a necklace, string olives on thread.
