Father's Day Envelope

This envelope-making technique is perfect for Father's Day pages, and is easily adaptable for other occasions.

What You Need:

An envelope "addressed"
to Dad holds extra photos.

Tracing paper
4-inch x 6-inch Father's Day photo
12-inch x 12-inch archival-quality photo album page
Hot Off The Press Paper Pizazz items as follows:
Flowers & Cats paper from the Vintage Papers booklet
Pink, cream, and yellow papers from the Plain Pastels booklet
Butterfly Punch-Outs from the Watercolor Punch-Outs booklet
EK Success Zig Writer black marking pen
Fiskars Mini Scallop paper edgers
Acid-free adhesive
Envelope patterns

Instructions:

1. Download the free pattern for this project. (Downloading requires Adobe Acrobat software.)

2. Trace the patterns on tracing paper, making a mirror image of the envelope. Cut out the pattern pieces. Cut the patterns from cream paper.

3. Fold up the envelope bottom as indicated on the pattern piece. Adhere the three shapes (with the envelope folded) to the pink paper. Trim close to the edges. Adhere the envelope fronts to the front of the folded envelope. Mount your photograph on yellow paper and trim, leaving a 1/16-inch border. Open the envelope, insert the photo, and add any journaling to the envelope.
