Gather and Glue the Pinecones

Step 1: Gather or purchase pinecones in a variety of sizes. Play with arranging them on the wreath until you find a pattern you like. Our mirror has three rows of pinecones: the smallest ringing the mirror, the midsize ones in the center, and short, wide pinecones alternating with tall, thinner ones on the outer edge.

Step 2: With a glue gun, attach the smallest pinecones around the mirror, placing them snugly against one another so the foam base is completely covered.

Tip: A little glue goes a long way -- use too much and it will seep up through the pinecones.
