Meet the Shanowers

Dana and Sally Shanower of Alliance, Ohio, were the recipients of Ladies' Home Journal's first Family Stress Makeover. The couple was among many who had submitted their names to the magazine in hopes of getting advice on relieving the long-term anxiety in their lives. Editors from the magazine assessed their major stressors and pulled in consultants to solve the problems. Here are before and after pictures of the makeover, which is described at greater length in the May issue of the magazine.
