Make Ahead and Freeze

Save time and money with a little assembly effort one evening a week.

- PB&J sandwiches: Slather peanut butter on both slices of bread, then layer jelly in between so it doesn't seep through. Slice, wrap, and freeze.

- Mac 'n' cheese: Line big muffin tins with plastic wrap, pile with pasta, and pop into the freezer. Heat up one portion and put into an insulated container for school.

- Roll-ups: Roll tortillas with meat and cheese, then wrap and freeze. Avoid mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes, which won't thaw well.
