It was so cold one winter that Lisa Richards decided to raise piglet Minerva McGonagall (Minnie, for short) indoors alongside her Icelandic sheepdog, Bjarki. Richards -- an executive turned farmer -- had found newborn Minnie cold and lifeless under a pile of hay on her farm in Marlow, New Hampshire. Luckily, she was able to nurse the piglet back to health. Within two months Minnie was housetrained and best friends with Bjarki. The two liked to snuggle and kiss -- even play ball. Minnie now lives outside, but her bond with Bjarki is as strong as ever. "To this day every morning the two have a big old snuggle fest," says Richards.
