Planning a get-together with friends? Serve this festive signature drink from blogger and LHJ columnist Ree Drummond, author of The Pioneer Woman Cooks, and get ready to make merry.
Holiday Pom Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine juice of one lime, 3 ounces pomegranate juice, 4 ounces berry- or currant-flavored vodka, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 4 ounces club soda. Shake for 10 to 20 seconds, then pour into sugar-rimmed glasses (rub a lime wedge along each rim, then dip into a dish of red-and-white sanding sugar). Serves 4.
For larger quantities, mix the chilled ingredients in a pitcher and serve ice-cold, says Drummond.
