Bat pumpkins
Gone Batty

To mimic the look of bats flying in front of a full moon, paint black bats on white pumpkins. If you'd rather not paint freehand, print out images of bats in different sizes, then cut them out to create stencils. Tape them to the pumpkins and fill in the stencils with acrylic paint. Arrange pumpkins on steps to make it look as if an entire colony is taking flight.
