After IVF failed, my fiancé, Byron, and I adopted a little girl named Joey. She is our angel because if I had gotten pregnant I wouldn't have had a mammogram. She kept rubbing a spot on my breast that probably aggravated the lump enough for me to notice it. She was 8 weeks old when I learned I had breast cancer.
