After getting photos and other basic information about the rescued dogs (like Token, a hound-shepherd mix), the SPCA of Westchester recruits potential adopters on its website. Applicants are approved in advance, and once the SPCA finds homes for all the pets, it's time to transport them from Mississippi to New York.
