I have known Annie since 7th grade and she has been an inspiration as she has always given back to the community. She got inspired to start volunteering at a homeless shelter (which she has been doing for years) And she has recruited other friends to help too, including me! Volunteering opens our minds and hearts, two good things, and we meet people and learn about the world in a new way. Annie is a generous spirit and I am thrilled to nominate her.
