Angela was voluteering at a Senior Living Center during a Hoe Down to raise money for the Lord's Diner and to raise awareness for the homeless and working poor to be able to help feed them. Angela is a server at a restaurant and works Sunday through Friday. But before she comes to work, she goes every morning from December to March to volunteer to help prepare the evening dinner that is free to the poor and homeless. From April to November, she goes to volunteer to help build homes for the Habitat for Humanity. She does all this while working full time and raising 2 children. In her other spare time she prepares turkeys for the Salvation Army for Thanksgiving. She helps with the toy drive at Christmas and volunteers to help with the bowling and volleyball at the Special Olympics each year. She loves to do Yoga and Zumba. When I asked her why she does all this, her response was her Mom was her inspiration. Her mother passed away 6 years ago and Angela said her Mom always helped everyone and that she would want her to do the same. I'm sure her Mom is so proud and watching her Angel, Angela.
