Curried Crab Dip

You can put together our modern version of this classic appetizer in minutes. Serve with apple slices, crackers, or grape tomatoes.

Curried Crab Dip
Makes: 10  servings
Yield: 2-1/2 cups Prep 25 mins Start to Finish 25 mins


  • 1 pound  lump crabmeat, shells and cartilage picked out
  • 6 tablespoons  mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons  curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons  Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons  fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 3 tablespoons  sliced scallions, white and green parts
  • Granny Smith apple, sliced
  • Crackers
  • Cherry tomatoes


1. In a bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt and 2 tbsp scallions. Stir gently to combine.

2. Transfer dip to a bowl and arrange on a platter surrounded by apple slices, crackers and tomatoes. Top with 1 tbsp scallions. Serve immediately or chill, covered, until ready to serve. Makes 2-1/2 cups, 10 servings
