Caramel "Glue"

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup water

Directions

1. In a saucepan, bring sugar, corn syrup and 1 cup water to a boil. Brush insides of pan with a wet pastry brush to remove any sugar crystals. Boil until caramel is golden and temperature reads 300 degrees F on a candy thermometer, about 30 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and pour into a large skillet for dipping. Dip edges of house in caramel and assemble. Reheat gently in skillet if necessary. Makes 1-1/2 cups.
