Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, heavy cream, and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon, for about 3 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Stir in chocolate and butter with a wire whisk until completely blended and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Makes 1-3./4 cups.
