Zesty Steak Salad

Grill: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound flank steak
- 1/4 pound snow peas, trimmed
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon wasabi powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 cups shredded daikon or red radishes
- 6 cups thinly sliced romaine lettuce
- 6 cups thinly sliced Napa cabbage
- 2 cups trimmed watercress
- 1 cup sliced red radishes
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
Directions
1. Heat grill or broiler. Combine soy sauce and pepper flakes in pie plate. Add steak, turning to coat. Grill 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let stand 5 minutes. Slice very thin diagonally.
2. Cook snow peas in boiling water 30 seconds; drain. Rinse under cold running water; drain again. Halve diagonally.
3. Make Wasabi Dressing: Puree all ingredients in blender. Transfer to large bowl.
4. Add all vegetables to dressing and toss to coat. Divide among 6 serving plates and top with sliced steak. Makes 6 servings.
