Mix 1/2 cup chopped peanuts into brownie batter. Pour into prepared pan and bake until done; allow to cool completely. Mix 1 cup peanut butter, 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter, 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until smooth and spread over brownies. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips.
