Salt, Peppercorn, and Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Wild Mushroom Red Wine Sauce

Total time: 1 hour 50 minutes (plus time for sauce)

Kitchen cue: Cooking times will vary for the beef depending on the thickness. We used a tenderloin that was 14 inches long and 3 1/2 inches thick.
