It's poker night (or Monopoly or Scrabble, depending on your fancy) and the gang's all here, but who wants ho-hum chips and dips? Instead, sweeten the pot with a hearty, easy-to-eat dinner. Popcorn punched up with parmesan and sage and a savory pesto with veggies are sure to whet appetites. Then set up a buffet of lasagna with goat cheese and spicy broccoli rabe so guests can easily help themselves and you won't miss any action at the table. By the time you serve Playing Card Ice-Cream Sandwiches for dessert, it won't matter who has been holding or folding -- everyone will agree that the meal has been the real winner.
