Baking your stuffing separately instead of inside the cavity of the turkey is a food-safe alternative. Instead fill the turkey with one of these flavorful aromatic blends.
First, butter the inside cavity of the turkey and season with salt and pepper. Then fill turkey with:
Cut-up orange, fennel, parsley and whole garlic cloves.
Celery, carrots, whole peeled shallots, fresh thyme, and sage.
