How They Met

"We met at a bar in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 17 years ago. I was supposed to be moving to Chicago a couple of weeks later. But when he walked into the room he just got to me. He was in his 20s but his hair was prematurely gray. He had a quiet manner about him but at the same time he was smoldering. I think he was hit by the same lightning bolt."
