asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
freshly ground black pepper
heavy or whipping cream
grated orange peel
thinly sliced cooked chicken
dried linguine or fettuccine, cooked according to package directions
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions; cook 4 minutes or until softened. Add asparagus, broth, salt, and pepper; cook 3 minutes. Stir in cream and peel. Bring to boil; cook until slightly thickened, 3 minutes. Stir in chicken and cook until heated through.
Toss sauce with hot pasta in large serving bowl. Makes 6 servings.
