Little Critter Lodge Halloween Pumpkin

Create a vivacious pumpkin full of personality with these nutty little characters.

What You Need:

Halloween decorations don't always
have to be spooky -- check out these
happy little characters!

Tall pumpkin
Marking pen
Knife
spoon
Thick pink craft foam
Scissors
Thick white crafts glue
Acorns
Pecans
English walnut
Almonds
Chestnuts
Pistachios
Allspice

Instructions:

1. Using the photo for ideas, draw a door and windows on the pumpkin. Cut out a circular shape from the bottom of pumpkin. Scoop out the insides. Cut out the shapes.

2. From craft foam, cut rectangular shutters with one rounded corner. Draw shutter lines with a marking pen. Glue shutters by window openings.

3. To make critters, glue nuts together. Use half a walnut shell with an almond to make the door critter. Use allspice for eyes and noses. Draw details with marking pen. Use pistachio shells for the ears. When glue is dry, paint as desired. Paint stem green. Let dry. For the door critter, glue on pipe cleaner arms and legs. Use toothpicks to support critters if needed.
