The Virginia Tech Shootings: An American Tragedy

At Ladies' Home Journal, our hearts go out to the loved ones of the students and staff members who were recently killed or injured during the April 16 shooting rampage at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. We join you in mourning them.

In our June issue, which goes on sale May 8, we take a look at the problem of guns in the wrong hands. Readers will find a petition in the pages of the magazine and on our Web site in support of legislation to help law enforcement officials control the flow of guns to criminals and traffickers. Take a look, and think about joining this effort.
