"I love that my daughter is now old enough to participate in the Mother's Day preparations. It was so fun to open a gift from her that she picked out herself. Children can be so thoughtful and also pretty funny in their reasoning. Last year, my daughter picked out a necklace for me because she knew I liked to wear them. She put the same thought into her Father's Day gift, too, and picked out soup for my husband because she knew he liked to eat it."
