"The kids get really frustrated with me because I don't know how to e-mail," she says. "And I know I'm missing out on some big moments, like when my son proposed to his fiancee and I couldn't figure out how to open the photo of the ring on my phone."

On the day the makeover crew came to give Lynne's technology life a major upgrade, she was excited but also a little nervous. Today tech guru Sara Haines presented Lynne with everything from a computer to a digital camera, then showed her how to use the new goodies. Our team also set up an e-mail address for Lynne and her husband and made her a Facebook page. Now she can stay up-to-date with her friends and family. We even showed her how to make free video calls on Skype. By the end of the day Lynne felt much less afraid of technology and much more empowered by it. "This is truly going to change our lives," she says. "It'll be so much easier to stay connected."
