1 Minute: Get Even

Why: An even complexion will make you look refreshed and more awake. Get it with tinted moisturizer, which doesn't settle into fine lines the way that foundation can. Also, since it's so sheer, you can apply it quickly without worrying about streaks.

How: Squirt a few dots onto your fingers and blend it over your entire face, just like you would apply regular moisturizer.

5 Minutes: Give Hair Bounce

Why: Here's a great tip: By making your hair big and bouncy, you're also drawing attention upward, to your beautiful eyes.

How: Celebrity hairstylist Nathaniel Hawkins recommends placing a few Velcro rollers in key spots, namely on top of your head and around your face, and then misting with hairspray. "This is very easy to do and really gives you the biggest bang for your time," says Hawkins. Make up your face while leaving rollers in.

3 Minutes: Define Eyes

Why: Everyone looks better with a little oomph around the eyes, and a palette of ivory, cream, and cocoa imparts just enough color while keeping the look natural and young.

How: Skip the intricate shading and lining and instead swipe the lightest shade onto your lid, followed by a slightly darker shade along your crease. Look for shadows with a slight sheen, which look more modern than matte formulas.

1 Minute: Beautify Your Lips

Why: Dark lipstick shades can be pretty, but they can also make your features look harsh. Instead, use a berry-toned sheer lipstick, which delivers a great pop of face-brightening color without requiring a precise (and therefore time-consuming) application.

How: It's as simple as swiping on a sheer lipstick, or diluting your regular cream formula with lip balm.
