What it entails: Injectable treatments include hyaluronan (Hyaluronic acid/Restylane, Hylaform), fat injections, bovine-based collagen (Zyderm, Zyplast), human-based collagen (CosmoDerm, Cosmoplast), and calcium hydroxyl-lapatite/Radiance. The most common applications of this treatment are to lines around the nose and chin, crow's feet, frown lines, and lips.

What to expect post-injection: While you may experience slight bruising, redness, or swelling, there is typically no recovery time for these treatments.
