Heather Mills' Prosthetic Leg

• At the age of 25, the model was struck by a police motorcycle in London. She suffered serious injuries, including the loss of her left leg below the knee, and now wears a prosthetic leg.

• She established the Heather Mills Health Trust, which recycles prosthetic limbs for the needy.

• Her attitude has always been upbeat: "The first things I wanted to do were ski and dance. When I told the therapist, she said it would not be possible and thought I was mad. But I knew I would do it."
