Try Using a Cream Blush

Sadly, your skin starts looking kind of dull after 40, which means that your flat, lifeless powder isn't doing you any favors. "Cream blush adds a gorgeous sheen, especially to dry, mature skin, and it never settles into fine lines," says makeup artist Bobbi Brown. Apply on your apples and blend up toward your hairline to give your cheeks a youthful look. (Straight across the cheeks looks dated, says Brown.)
