Wait, Bronzer Can Do That? Brilliant!

You already love how powder bronzer (safely) makes your skin look sun-kissed. But this versatile product has a lot more tricks up its sleeve.

Go for a full-body glow.
No time for a spray tan? No problem. Grab a big, fluffy brush (try Ecotools Face & Body Sculpting Brush, $12) and sweep a shimmery bronzer over your chest, arms, and legs for instant color.

Define your eyes.
Your dream bronzer (one that's matte and two shades deeper than your skin) makes an excellent shadow: Brush it right on your eyelid crease, says Joanna Schlip, Physicians Formula makeup artist.

Make your neck look smoother.
Apply bronzer under and along your jawline with an angled brush, then blend well. This trick creates the illusion of a tighter jaw and neck.

Work some magic on your nose.
"Bronzer can help make your nose look more symmetrical," says Schlip. If your bridge is wide, slim it by contouring each side. Brush bronzer under the tip if your nose is too long.

Hide hairline issues.
Bronzer along your temples and part helps conceal thinning areas. You can even dust it over stray gray hairs if you're overdue for color.

Keep it natural.
The one tip every woman who owns bronzer needs to know: Don't use it as an all-over face powder. Trust us, it just looks fake.

Our summer bronzer picks: Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer, $51, and Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Bronzer SPF 30, $14.
