Surprised to learn that men read Ladies' Home Journal? The movie Leatherheads, about the beginnings of America's pro football league in the 1920s, proves they've been doing it all along. George Clooney is star player Dodge Connelly, who trades in his football playbook to learn an entirely different game -- picking up an LHJ to impress Lexie Littleton, the reporter played by Renee Zellweger. Will Dodge learn enough to win over such a feisty, forward-thinking woman? Judging by what he's reading, he's sure to make a smart play. In theaters now.
