Family Style Makeover Winners: The Ferreiras

We were bowled over by the quantity and quality of entries for our head-to-toe family beauty and style makeovers. More than 700 essays poured in from all 50 states, with vivid descriptions of your families' busy lives and your desire to be pampered, and, of course, given expert fashion and beauty advice.

This year we selected the Ferreiras, a delightful family of four from Chester, Vermont: Beth, 39, Richard, 43, and their two children, Michael, 14, and Rebekah, 7. Married 19 years, Beth and Richard have had their share of adventures -- hiking, skiing, and swimming local lakes -- but a trip to the bustling Big Apple was an exciting change from the Vermont countryside.
