And the Winners Are...

This was a record-breaking year for our contest. Your entries were filled with fantastic family photos, including elegant portraits, intentionally goofy snaps, even a sonogram of a newborn on the way! Your thoughtful and heartfelt essays charmed our staff, good-naturedly divulging your style secrets, such as your closetful of clothes from 1989, your hubby's "white-sock look," and the outfit you wore that was mistaken for pajamas.

Our winner this year is the Johnson family, from Park Rapids, population about 3,900, in northern Minnesota. They include Kerry, 42, a high school English teacher, Scott, 44, her husband of 18 years and a physical therapist, and their children, Ian, 11, and Maya, 8.
