Won't Back Down: A Ladies' Home Journal Exclusive

Ladies' Home Journal recently hosted a screening of Won't Back Down, a new movie about the power of moms. Two determined women (played by Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis) look to transform their children's failing inner city school. Here's an exclusive sneak peek of the film, in theaters on September 28.

At left, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal writes on the Wall of Hope, where all the moms and guests attending the screening could share their messages of hope inspired by the movie. The messages were shared with the Born This Way Foundation (in partnership with Office Depot), which is dedicated to helping empower students by addressing issues like bullying and self-confidence.
