Recycled doesn't have to mean bland and boring. Just ask David Stark, the noted event producer and author of David Stark Design, who decorated this tree for us. He started off with ornaments and garlands made of recycled paper, part of his holiday line for West Elm ($3 to $16; westelm.com). Then he repurposed old Christmas cards, hanging them alongside silvery balls made from recycled potato-chip bags ($10 each; btcelements.com).
