• You may need to pause and allow the design to dry halfway through to prevent smudging with your hand. Go ahead and start work on the next one while it dries.

• To get your paint pen started, pump it a few times on scrap paper to start the flow of ink. If it starts to lose flow while you're working, pump it on the paper a few more times to renew the ink.
