Ready, Set, Paint

Pick a palette of bold colors to jazz up a room with customized detail. In this dining room the walls, furnishings, floor covering, and chandelier all got a personalized paint treatment. Use painter's tape to create patterns such as the wall caning, the two tones on the furniture legs, and the allover pattern on the floorcloth. Match the paint type to the surface—spray paints that adhere to glass and metal, matte-finish paints for walls, and semigloss for furniture.
