Through the Looking Glass

Give a glass lamp the look of mercury glass with a specialty looking-glass mirror spray paint. Spray several coats of paint on the inside of the glass lamp base, letting it dry between coats. Add some extra zing by taping off a wide border around the top of a white drum shade and brushing on fire-engine-red fabric paint. Remove tape when the paint has set.
