Spring Up Your Rug
Summery sisal rugs or mats take the winter drab our of your floor in no time, says designer Cvetan—especially if you paint on an Easter design with fabric, acrylic, or latex paint. Lay down tape or stencils to map the design—tulips, rabbits and carrots, chicks and/or eggs—then lightly sponge the paint onto the rug. Let dry for three hours, pull the tape, and love that no one's hallway looks more springlike (or original) than yours.
